If you have a fear of dogs, you can choose to feel the way you feel about fluffy rabbits instead. If you smoke, you can choose to live your life as a non-smoker, forever. If you dread going to work every morning, you can change that feeling to feel the way when you do the weekly shop, for example (not hugely excited, but ok all the same).
