What is hypnosis/hypnotherapy? Hypnosis can be considered as a state of focus upon a particular idea or concept. For example, someone wanting to stop smoking will be focusing on what life will be like as a non smoker; the fresh clean air, the healthier heart and lungs, the increased sense of feeling well, and never wanting to smoke again. Someone wanting to lose weight will be given suggestions focusing on eating a balanced diet, feeling more confident, finding they want to exercise and move their body, make healthier choices, and to have no interested in processed foods or sweets. Basically, you tell me exactly what it is you want to achieve, and I show you how you can do that by utilising your thoughts, moving them away from old ways of thinking, and steering them in the right direction. Hypnotherapy is the work we do whilst in hypnosis.
What is BWRT? BWRT stands for BrainWorking Recursive Therapy. It works directly in that 'cognitive gap' before conscious awareness. So where more standard therapies will be seeking to access the anxiety-triggering amygdala via conscious processes, BWRT works from the other end of the scale - in the very early brain before the amygdala has even received the message! It is a model of psychology and psychopathology and we can use it to change the responses in the brain, to anything the client wants to change their response to. A fear, a memory, a difficult person, a confidence issue, a trauma and so much more.
What is Coaching? In coaching, I look at various different areas of your life, using either the BWRT coaching model, or SymbioDynamics. We look at career, finances, personal, friendships, emotions, personal growth and more, and have a look at each area as it is and how you would like it to be. We break down any blocks or barriers that may be in the way of these components performing at their best.

Why do I need to fill out the form? It's important to get some information before I can book people in, as sometimes, I am not the right person for the service you are looking for; you may need someone with a different skillset to me. In that case, I will let you know where to look for someone who is better suited. It would be unprofessional of me to book in every person that gets in touch.
What happens in a session? At first, we chat! We talk about you, what brought you to see me, what you are dealing with, how it affects you, and how you'd like to be instead. As I listen to you talk, I am deciding the best way to work with you, and determining how many sessions you may need. My aim is to teach you how to manage your mind, whilst also showing you a to reach your goals. We then talk about what modality we are going to use, eg hypnotherapy or BWRT, and if there is time in the first session, we get started right away. Otherwise, we start the work on the second session.
How much is a session? €120 Smoking Cessation €220
How many sessions will I need? It depends on what it is you're looking for help for. But a typical example could be: Fears can be dealt with in one session, weight management 2-4 sessions, confidence issues 1-3 sessions. However, this is different for every single person.

Where are the appointments held? Online via Zoom.

Do you work with children? No, I work with individuals over 18. I can recommend practitioners that do, if you wish.
