The weight management journey is different for everyone, which is why I take a client-centred approach when it comes to taking control. In my 15 years practicing as a therapist, I have found that most (not all) weight problems are due to underlying emotional issues - so a good place to start would be to ask yourself, 'what am I feeding (or not feeding)?'
In a typical weight management session, I take a detailed case history as I do with all other sessions, and you'll be asked about your life weight story, what diets - if any - you have tried before, what is your goal, how much weight have you managed to lose/gain in the past, what made it creep back up again, and so on. We will focus on mindset and motivation, and it is made clear that in order for you to be successful in reaching your desired weight, you need to be committed, and willing to put in the work.
Hypnotherapy or BWRT Some people see great benefit from one session; others need a few more. Book in for a session where we can work together to find out what will work best for you.
BWRTCoaching for Weight Management A weight management programme that looks at 'emotional eating'. This model searches out the emotional drivers that are currently preventing you to achieve your goal. This involves looking at your personality type and neutralising any causes for the weight issue. The BWRT Coaching programme is an exciting and dynamic methodology combining the best of BWRT Level 1 and the best elements of two other outstanding Terence Watts concepts: Warriors, Settlers & Nomads and the unique SymbioDynamics® goal-achevement system. The BWRT® Coaching programme is itself a step ahead of more traditionally-based methods because it searches out and resolves the hidden conflicts and contraindicators that are inherent in the human psyche.
